Both UCLA and USC have had up and down seasons, but with one regular game left on the schedule, a trip to the Pac-12 title game is on the line Saturday at the Coliseum.

UCLA, USC, and Utah are all tied with 5-3 conference records, but both UCLA and USC have defeated Utah, making this rivalry game sort of a Pac-12 South championship game. The winner of the game will face Stanford for a trip to the Rose Bowl.

Both UCLA and USC have been highly ranked this season, both suffered costly losses that knocked them out of the top 25 rankings early in the season. UCLA re-entered the rankings at No. 23, while USC has rebounded after making a head coach change.

Both schools have also lost to Stanford this season.

As for bragging rights, UCLA head coach Jim Mora has claimed that the Bruins “run” Los Angeles (they have defeated USC in all three years that he has been in Westwood). A win on Saturday will mean that an entire USC graduating class will finish their college careers without having defeated their cross-town rival, and a graduating class from UCLA can say that they never lost to USC.
