Eds: NOTE nature. Arraignment is set for Dec. 4 in Dept. CJ1, Central Jail, 550 N. Flower St. SANTA ANA (CNS) – A 33-year-old man made his first court appearance today on charges of sexually assaulting three female victims ranging in age from 14 to 22 in Santa Ana and Garden Grove. Barry Alberto Medina Moore, who’s being held in lieu of $1 million bail, did not enter a plea to the charges, which involve crimes allegedly committed in 2010 and 2013. His arraignment was rescheduled to Dec. 4. Moore was charged in an arrest warrant issued Nov. 5 with two counts each of lewd or lascivious acts with a minor and assault with intent to commit a sex offense, and one count each of committing a forcible lewd act on a child and sodomy of a person younger than 18. He also faces two counts of first-degree burglary. Court records show he is accused of having anal sex with an underage girl on May 16, 2010, and with fondling the buttocks and rubbing the groin of a girl about 14 on Aug. 27, 2010.

He’s also accused of the attempted sexual assault of a 22-year-old woman in Garden Grove on Dec. 27, 2013, according to Garden Grove police Lt. Robert Bogue. Santa Ana police arrested the defendant about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in Westminster without incident, Santa Ana police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna said. In the August 2010 incident, Moore allegedly entered the residence of an acquaintance and sexually assaulted the 14-year-old, Bertagna said. He allegedly took a 17-year-old female acquaintance to a residence in May 2010, where he engaged in sex acts with her, Bertagna said.

In the 2013 incident, Moore is accused of taking the 22-year-old on a date and trying to sexually assault her in a vehicle, Bertagna said. Police do not believe there were any other alleged victims, but

investigators encouraged anyone with information to call police at (714) 245-8412.
