The Board of Equalization (BOE) will hold the free Lancaster Small Business Seminar Tuesday, May 19 from 9 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. (check-in at 8:30 a.m.) in the city council chambers, 44933 N. Fern Ave., Lancaster.
Among the topics that will be discussed are: avoiding common sales and use tax problems; forms of ownership; better business through better records; employee or independent contractor; creating a business plan; and social media marketing.
