Los Angeles County Air Show announces February volunteer meeting

Calling all volunteers! The Los Angeles County Air Show, powered by Lockheed Martin and fueled by Toyota, is looking for Antelope Valley’s finest volunteers to join the team for a weekend of hard work and a lot of fun. Volunteers will learn about what it takes to get involved, available opportunities, meet Airshow team managers, ask questions and get the inside scoop. In order to volunteer, one must be at least 18 years old and available for a minimum of 8-10 hours both Saturday and Sunday, March 21-22, 2015.  For additional information and/or to apply for a volunteer position please visit our website at http://www.lacountyairshow.com/contact-us/volunteers/

Make sure to save the date and attend the meeting on Feb.10, at the Antelope Valley Transit Authority Building, 42210 6th Street West, Lancaster at 7 p.m. to can get involved, have fun and give back to your community.

The Air Show will feature several of the top performers from around the country including the headlining act, the USAF Thunderbirds Jet Demonstration Team, high-energy aerobatics, vintage aircraft, various warbirds and so much more. The Show will also focus on the innovative aircraft whose roots are tied to the Antelope Valley. On the ground, spectators will be able to explore static aircraft displays, speak with pilots and crewmembers, and experience interactive attractions and educational exhibits designed to promote STEM.
