With college football bowl games around the corner, consider grilling a frozen pizza. Most people think of burgers, hot dogs or steaks, but consider melted cheese, delicious rich tomato sauce and your favorite toppings grilled up to perfection just in time to enjoy a slice before the big game. The pizza is great to throw on the grill during college bowl tailgating and also an easy dinner solution for the hectic holiday season.

Made with a clean ingredient deck and certified gluten free, Smart Flour Foods’ pizza is designed with a proprietary flour blend that contains sorghum, amaranth and teff. These powerful whole grains give the pizza a delicious taste, classic texture, and enhanced nutritional profile.

Smart Flour Foods’ original varieties include: Uncured Pepperoni Pizza, Garden Margherita pizza made with fresh Roma tomatoes and flavorful basil, and classic cheese. This legacy lineup won “Best New Food Product” at the Natural Products Expo East in 2013, shortly after the products were introduced to the retail market.

In 2015, Smart Flour Foods continued innovating and released two new varieties to its natural and specialty pizza set: Tuscan Inspired Uncured Two Meat and Chicken Sausage. These chef-inspired flavors were both awarded as 2015 Editors’ Picks by food industry media leaders Gourmet Retailer and Progressive Grocer. The gourmet chicken sausage pizza shares the bold flavors of roasted red peppers, onion, garlic, and savory rosemary with sweet-chicken sausage made from simple ingredients, while the Tuscan-inspired Uncured Two Meat pairs genoa salami and pepperoni with the subtle, spicy kick of pepperoncini.

The company is also rolling out a line of family-size pizzas. Designed for mainstream consumers looking for “better-for-you” alternatives to classic comfort foods, the new lineup comes available in original uncured Pepperoni, Garden Margherita and Classic Cheese, while introducing a new addition, Italian Sausage.

Each of the new products are free from preservatives and artificial ingredients, feature real mozzarella and provolone cheese that is free of rGBH (recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone), and are topped with hand-selected uncured meats free of nitrites and nitrates. In addition, thanks to its ancient grain ingredients, Smart Flour Foods pizza is higher in protein, vitamins and minerals than leading conventional and gluten-free pizza brands.

A delicious, healthier indulgence and ideal meal solution for the entire family, Smart Flour Foods’ frozen pizzas are available at retail stores nationwide.Visit SmartFlourFoods.com/store-locator to find a store near you.
