California State University Super Saturday is a college fair designed to provide students and families from historically underserved communities with important information about preparing for, applying to, and graduating from college.

CSU Super Saturday takes place at CSU Dominguez Hills tomorrow from 8:30 a.m.- 2 p.m. and is open to middle, high school and community college students and their families.

With sponsorship from McDonald’s of Southern California, the event will offer transportation to students from Long Beach, Moreno Valley, Oxnard, San Bernardino and Palmdale to attend the event.

Participants can get information on how to pay for college: scholarships, state and federal grants.

They will also take guided campus tours; learn more about college prep courses and test requirements for CSU admissions.

Students will also learn step-by-step how to complete a CSU application.

During the college and resource fair, prospective students and their families can meet with representatives from all 23 CSU campuses and discover which campus is right for them.

The event will also feature workshops on the new SAT, careers in sports, entertainment, and how to enter careers in science and technology.

Young people will have a chance to use social media to win an iPad or a set of Beats by Dr. Dre headphones. Details on how to participate will be provided during the opening session.
