Also, this year, Taste of Soul will become a huge opportunity for Crenshaw shops to network and market their wares to the estimated 250,000 attendees.

The L.A. County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) will make the most of the street party by operating a large business-friendly marketplace at the festival. Located at the mainstay corner of Crenshaw and Martin Luther King boulevards, the Metro Small Business Pavilion will highlight the variety of food, clothing, electronics and furniture retailers populating the heart of the Crenshaw district.

Some Crenshaw area businesses have temporarily lost customer parking, and the light rail construction has made it challenging for consumers to enter some storefronts. The Taste of Soul Pavilion kicks off a long-term program supporting Crenshaw businesses affected by this five-year major infrastructure project.

The free Metro Small Business Pavilion will connect the public with Crenshaw-area businesses including:

A Sharp Edge Beauty and Barber Salon, African Family Fashions, Babacar’s African Braids, Big Bargain Market, Brooklyn Deli and Mini Market, C-Mobile Metro PCS, Comet Cleaners, Dave’s Tattoos, Delicious Southern Cuisine, Dental Playground, Excel Fashion and Beauty Supply, First Choice Driving and Traffic School, Fresh Prints LA, Happy’s Pizza, Healthcare Medical Services and Enterprises, Law Office of Randall and Associates, Lili Wigs, Love’s Furniture, Madame Kofo’s Boutique, Malai Hair, Mel B Fine Hair Salon, Mother’s Nutritional Center, New Millennium Beauty and Barber Salon, Parisian Wigs, Rokitfly Boutique, Santa Clara Dental, S-Class Salon, Shell Gas Station, Stakely’s Barber Salon, Tax Ease Plus Accounting Services, The Shop Hair Lounge, Turning Headz Hair Studio and Beauty Supply, View Park Automotive, WIC (Woman Infant Children) Center, Wireless Hookups and Yo Halal Popcorn.
