The city of Santa Clarita, in partnership with Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital, will host a free Community Health Fair tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Canyon Country Community Center, located at 18792 Soledad Canyon Road.
The Community Health Fair will offer various free health tests for attendees, including cholesterol, glucose, blood pressure and body fat analysis, and nutrition education information. Complimentary healthy snacks, children’s games and raffle prizes will also be provided by local vendors.
Several local organizations will be available at the Community Health Fair to offer information on affordable healthcare programs and services. These non-profit agencies include: ACTION Family Counseling, Child and Family Center, The Foundation for Children’s Dental Health, Northeast Valley Health Corporation, Samuel Dixon Family Health, The Los Angeles County Senior and Community Services Center, SCV Domestic Violence Center, Family Focus Resource Center, Department of Rehabilitation, and the Fair Housing Council.
