The Lancaster Museum of Art & History’s (MOAH’s) manager, Andi Campognone, was recently appointed to the executive committee of Art Table’s Los Angeles chapter. Art Table is the leading non-profit organization dedicated to advancing professional women’s leadership in the visual arts. The organization currently has a membership of 1,400 women in 12 cities throughout the United States including Boston, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Santa Fe, Seattle, Washington D.C., Chicago, Miami and New Orleans.
“It is an honor to be working with one of the most active chapters in the nation,” said Campognone. “I look forward to facilitating new opportunities for the community and MOAH through Art Table.”
Founded in 1980, the organization’s emphasis is on fostering support, recognition and opportunities among peers. Art Table also promotes the interests of professional women in the visual arts. The organization’s membership reflects women in various stages of their careers exemplifying leadership in administration, business, finance, management, promotion, scholarship and stewardship of the visual arts. Its mission includes educating both members and the general public through activities and initiatives, such as: conferences, talks, mentorship programs and seminars, thereby increasing opportunities for professional women in the arts and enriching the nation’s cultural life.
