The child was identified today as Seth Cayton, according to coroner’s
Lt. Fred Corral, who said an autopsy was pending.
CARSON, Calif. — A 5-month-old boy was found dead in Carson this afternoon.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives were sent to the 19000 block of Cliveden Avenue at 3:19 p.m. to investigate the circumstances of the baby’s death, according to Deputy Mark Pope of the Sheriff’s Headquarters Bureau.
Reports from the scene indicated that the infant was found inside an SUV and was declared dead at the scene.
