HAWTHORNE, Calif. — Sheriff homicide detectives today asked for the public’s help in finding a suspect in a fatal stabbing in Hawthorne.
Alvin Hunt Jr., 59, is suspected of fatally stabbing his stepdaughter Naquia Danielle Catching in the apartment they lived in at 4838 W. 118th Place, Thursday, said Detective R. Lugo.
It is believed Hunt left the apartment several hours before her body was discovered.
Hunt is described as a Black, 5 foot 3 inches tall, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
