The United States Postal Service just released a limited edition Forever 1963 March on Washington stamp, and Congressman John Lewis, (D-Ga.) the final surviving speaker at the original march was part of the release ceremony held in Washington, D.C. This stamp is the final of three Forever stamps issued this year as part of a civil rights series commemorating courage, strength and equality in America. The first, issued in January, marked the 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation, and the second honored Rosa Parks on the 100th anniversary of her birth in February.
