In November, the city of Lancaster will host its first Field of Drafts beer festival, an event where live music, sports entertainment and a delectable selection of brews will be provided.
Attendees will enjoy a selection of more than 60 types of beer. If you are a craft beer connoisseur, this may be an opportunity to discover a taste you’ve yet to experience.
“This event will be the beginning of yet another new and exciting annual celebration for the entire Antelope Valley,” said Lancaster Mayor R. Rex Parris. “We encourage everyone to come out and enjoy an afternoon of lively entertainment and top-rate craft beers at this community event.”
Field of Drafts will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 1- 5 p.m. at The Hangar–Lancaster Municipal Stadium, 45116 Valley Central Way. Preferred parking is $5; dirt parking is free. General admission tickets are $30, and include a souvenir glass. Veterans and seniors (age 55 and up) receive a $10 discount off of general admission tickets.
VIP tickets will be available for this event as well. For $50, the VIP Experience includes early entrance beginning at noon; a private tented area; food; free preferred parking; a specialty beer not available to general admission attendees; and a souvenir item.
Field of Drafts’ online ticket sales will begin Sept. 1. Tickets purchased September 1 -30 receive a $5 early bird discount. Off-line ticket sales will begin Oct. 1 at Lancaster City Hall, 44933 Fern Avenue, as well as at The Hangar.
Designated drivers will be admitted for free, and must have proof of driver’s licensing at time of admission.
To ensure the safety of all attendees, in addition to the availability of designated drivers, security will be onsite to guard vehicles left overnight. Taxi services will also be available for patrons requiring a lift home.
