EL SEGUNDO, Calif.–A man who allegedly followed a woman in his car to an El Segundo Walgreen’s parking lot, exposed himself next to her and then followed her into the store, was arrested, police said today.

Frederick J. Rogers, 47, of Los Angeles was arrested without incident and booked on suspicion of attempted sexual assault, burglary, lewd conduct and indecent exposure, according to the El Segundo Police Department.

Rogers allegedly drove a metallic blue Lexus SUV behind a woman in her car for several blocks on May 23, police said. The woman parked and got out of her vehicle at a Walgreen’s in the 300 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard and saw Rogers park next to her, allegedly exposing himself.

The victim ran into the store and the suspect followed her on foot, but Rogers lost sight of her and the victim notified police, officials said.
