LOS ANGELES, Calif.--A romantic comedy and a racehorse drama had strong showings at the nation's movie theaters, but they couldn't unseat "The Social Network'' from the top spot at the box office, according to final figures released today.

The dramatic tale of the founding of Facebook earned $15.5 million between Friday and Sunday to lead the box office for the second straight week, according to Hollywood.Com Box-Office. The film has earned $46 million in its two weeks of release.

The Katherine Heigl-Josh Duhamel romantic comedy "Life as We Know It'' debuted in second place by earning $14.5 million. Disney's "Secretariat,'' the dramatic story of the famed racehorse, opened in third place with $12.7 million.

The animated 3-D adventure "Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole'' earned $6.9 million to place fourth, finishing just ahead of writer/director Wes Craven's 3-D horror flick "My Soul to Take,'' which earned $6.8 million in its first weekend of release.

Rounding out the top 10 films at box office were "The Town'' ($6.4 million); "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps'' ($4.6 million); "Easy A'' ($4.3 million); "Case 39'' ($2.7 million); and "You Again'' ($2.5 million).
