Congresswoman Laura Richardson announced recently that Verbum Dei High School senior Terrell Brim was the winner of the annual 37th District Congressional Art Competition held at California State University Dominguez Hills.
Brim’s oil on canvas work was chosen first of 28 other entries, and will be displayed in Washington, D.C. for the year. He also recieved three plane tickets to Washington, D.C., so he and his family can attend the unveiling of his piece.
