106th Annual 4th of July Parade. Considered to be the largest Independence Day parade west of the Mississippi, featuring more than 300 entries including bands, floats, celebrities, local dignitaries, equestrians and community groups. The parade heads south from Pacific Coast Highway to Main St. ending at Yorktown Avenue and Main Street. 10am, Downtown Huntington Beach, 1 Main St.
Irvine
Fireworks celebration and concert on the green. The Irvine Police Association presents this annual event. Live bands throughout the day, concession stands, balloon jumpers, face painting, children’s game area, door prizes, food vendors, and fireworks show. Shepherd of the Hills Church. “4th of July Spectacular.” This free festival and fireworks show at Shepherd of the Hills Church in Porter Ranch includes moon bounces and face painting for the children, an outdoor stage show as well as food from over a dozen local food vendors.
