(Inglewood, CA)  Sunday, March 30, please join Faithful Central Bible  Church in celebrating Bishop Kenneth C. Ulmer, Senior Pastor, for his 26  Years of service.  There will be special services in the Forum at  10:00am and 5:00pm to celebrate this man and his wife, First Lady  Togetta Ulmer.  Bishop Eddie Long of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church  (Atlanta) will be present for the celebration and will preach the  sermon at 10:00am; Bishop Noel Jones will give a word at 5:00pm and  Bishop Charles E. Blake will serve as Celebrant Leader.
In his 26  years of service, Bishop Ulmer has grown this congregation from 350 to  13,000.  He was called to pastor Faithful Central Bible Church in 1982,  which was founded 70 years ago by Dr. A.C. Capers.  Upon his retirement,  Dr. Capers passed the pastoral mantle to Dr. W. L. Robinson, a dynamic  teacher, pastor, counselor, and social activist.
After Dr.  Robinsons homegoing, then Reverend Kenneth C. Ulmer was called to be  the churchs third pastor.  At that time, he was pastoring Macedonia  Bible Baptist Church in San Pedro, a church he had founded just a few  years earlier.  Sensing Gods will to come to Faithful Central, Bishop  Ulmer accepted the new pastorate position and brought with him his  entire congregation.  The church soon became known affectionately as  The Family of Faith; now it is known as The Family of Champions.
At  present, one of the most prolific and sought-after speakers in the  world, Bishop also known as Dr. Kenneth C. Ulmer serves as Senior Pastor  and pastors a ministry in South Africa.  Under Dr. Ulmers steady  leadership and through a series of miraculous events, it was made  possible for Faithful Central to purchase the Forum in 2000, which has  allowed the church to easily accommodate the incredible growth it has  seen.  Additionally, the Church has also continued to allow the Forum to  be used as an economic tool by maintaining it as a premier  entertainment venue, with such recent concerts as The Foo Fighters.
Now  having served 26 years, Dr. Ulmer envisions Faithful Central as a  conduit of Gods love and power as it reaches out to the City of Los  Angeles while also making an eternal impact across the globe.  Please  join the Family of Champions in saluting him and his wife for their  teachings, guidance, time, dedication, inspiration, commitment and  service.
