Police seek identification of burnt bodies

Two burnt bodies were discovered by Los Angeles Police Department detectives Saturday as firefighters battled a structure fire in the 400 block of south Western Avenue.
Los Angeles Fire Department Arson Investigators suspected foul play and Wilshire area homicide detectives were notified. The two bodies found were a man and a woman.
Detectives are awaiting positive identification of the decedents by the County Coroner’s office.
