Recording artists gather at West Angeles Cathedral

Bishop Charles E. Blake Sr., founder and president of the Pan-African Children’s Fund/ Save Africa’s Children (SAC) will present the First Annual Save Africa’s Children Music Festival at West Angeles Cathedral on Friday, Sept. 26. 
The event, produced by guitarist Doc Powell, will feature performances by Yolanda Adams, Pieces of a Dream, Kirk Whalum, Jeff Bradshaw and Brass Heaven, the Lula Washington Dance Theater and more. Comedian Jonathan Slocumb will serve as host. 
All proceeds will benefit orphan children in Africa (www.saveafricaschildren.org). Individual and group tickets are now on sale. For more information call (323) 733-1048 or (800) 671-SEAT.
