The mindset of appreciation
An Ultimate Transformation Moment
This week’s Ultimate Transformation Moment concentrates on appreciation.
As a community, I’d like us to understand that appreciation is a major component for any individual to start feeling the positive vacuum of the infinite, of God’s blessing flowing within you.
When you stay in a mindset of appreciation, it helps you stay in the moment. The definition of appreciation, or giving thanks, is the recognition of the quality, value, significance or magnitude of people and things around you. When you stay in a mindset of appreciation, you stay in the moment and begin to recognize the value and quality of that which you do possess.
We have a tendency to think about the things that we don’t have. However, let’s refocus and begin to give appreciation for those great and strong people who are in your life; the ability to get up in the morning and do for yourself; for not only good health, but health which allows you to execute whatever dreams or ideas you may have.
When you give appreciation, you stay in the moment, and realize there’s a value there. You are valuable in that moment. When you begin to feel good in that moment, this good feeling is the primary component to the manifestation of your desires and goals.
The mystery schools of Africa taught that what you feel, you attract and out of the good feeling, what you imagine, you become. So, here’s one of the best formulas for us to work on in order to reap the benefits of what we desire and what we contemplate most.
Everyday, let’s get up and give thanks and show appreciation for the opportunity that we have to be able to go out and execute our day. Show appreciation for those things that you already have and the things that you can do. Give thanks for your children, your parents, your siblings and your community.
When you are thankful, you find yourself in a state of good feeling. Then, while you are in that state of good feeling, that’s the time to use your incredible infinite thought to imagine and dream.
See things differently, and focus on having all your desires manifest. The good feeling of appreciation helps create an incredible positive energy that desires are easily realized.
Now you have created the mindset to become what you desire most.
I’d like for us to take this moment in time to use appreciation and giving thanks daily as a component of our everyday health and wellness program.
That’s our Ultimate Transformations Moment. Peace and be more.

This week’s Ultimate Transformation Moment is about building your own personal wellness program.
We’ve kicked off the Let’s Go Men! as well as the Let’s Go Women! workout programs in the Los Angeles area this quarter, and in honor of these two programs, there is some basic fitness gear I want to make sure everyone has anytime they go workout. No matter where you are working out, you want to make sure that you have the following clothing and equipment.
As we celebrate this Black History Month, our Ultimate Transformation Moment takes a look at the concept of Black history.
First, I have to begin by saying that I cannot actually buy-in to the notion of a Black history.
History is history. Let us be clear, Africa is the cradle of civilization, and it is African people who were the originators of this civilization. Hence, all history originated from Africans, who were Black people. This being said, either all history is Black History, or simply, it’s all history.
This week’s Ultimate Transformation Moment looks at New Year’s resolutions, as we near the end of January, and evaluate how many resolutions remain standing.
During January, a lot of people like to make New Year’s resolutions, and they make them based upon the fact that a new calendar year is beginning. This means that they will typically use 12 months, from January to December, as the parameter by which they will judge their success.
This week’s Ultimate Transformation Moment focuses on the recruitment of student athletes, and college selection. Parents, this one is for you and your college-bound child.
Parents, you and your child/student-athlete should establish some priorities and have some idea of the type of college environment that is preferable.
One of the most important things you must understand is that your child, the young athlete, is an unlimited being with unlimited talents. They are bringing their unlimited talents to the selected university.
Today’s Ultimate Transformation Moment is a message to parents. As the school year begins, and children start to participate in sports, now is the time for you to let them have fun, and you can sit back and watch them grow as young people.
Sport is a great learning tool for our youth. It teaches them many life lessons. Sport at its most fundamental level teaches our children how to compete. It teaches them how to challenge themselves to improve skills they have acquired and transfer them into play. They also learn to work together for a common goal.
