Obama to speak in Southern California
Will appear at a $28,500 reception dinner
Sen. Barack Obama will speak at two Beverly Hills fundraisers on Sept. 16 in his first visit to Southern California since officially receiving the Democratic presidential nomination.
Obama will speak at a $28,500 reception at dinner at Greystone Mansion which will benefit the Democratic National Committee. His speech will be followed by a $2, 500 per person reception at the Beverly Wilshire. Barbara Streisand is scheduled to sing at the Beverly Wilshire event.
