Film Festival. Hogtown, the 2015 winner of the Black International Cinema Berlin, is one of eight entries in the Big House Entertainment film competition. Hogtown is the entry from the inaugural Los Angeles Black Film Festival and begins at 6:30pm at the L.A. Live Regal Cinemas in downtown, 1000 W. Olympic Blvd. The film is set in 1919 Chicago against the backdrop of the race riots of that year and the story follows an investigation into the disappearance of a millionaire theater owner during a snowstorm.
