Free family events across the country

Target is continuing its effort to support education in communities across the country by underwriting free and reduced price admission to more that 22,000 arts and cultural events being held July 16-18 as part of the Target Arts and Wonder Program.

In addition to the program, the California African American Museum (CAAM) hosts Target Sundays, which offers a once-a-month free Sunday to help celebrate the diverse influences and achievements of art and culture from the African Diaspora.

One thing is for certain, it’s hard to keep a Black woman down. Sisters in the spotlight—whose journey to the light was, at times, difficult and scary—overcome and for the most part reach back to help others. And when we’re really on the ball, we combine forces.
