The Santa Clarita Farmers’ Market has been established since 1993 for local residents to have access to fresh produce available at the market. The Santa Clarita Farmers' Market is open on Sundays from 8 a.m. to noon at the College of the Canyons in Parking Lot 5. The Farmers' Market is open year-round regardless of rain or shine. Pets are not allowed at the venue unless they are service animals. The market is located at Valencia Boulevard and Rockwell Canyon Road.
In addition to fresh produce, there are opportunities for families to gather and have a leisurely Sunday breakfast prepared by several vendors. Over 40 California farmers provide fresh, vine, and tree-ripened fruits and vegetables for customers. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to sample from an artisan bakery. Products beyond the bakery include fish and seafood products, herbs, honey, eggs, whole and shelled nuts, fruit juices, jams, jellies, cut flowers, and potted plants.
All VCCFMA (Ventura County Certified Farmers’ Market) outlets accept WIC FMNP checks (seasonal), the Senior WIC FMNP Checks (seasonal) and year-round WIC Fruit & Vegetable Checks (FVC’s). Snap and EBT customers are welcome as well as participants in the Market Match grant program.
